Now to Him, who is able to do...
Immeasurably more, than you can ask or imagine...
According to His power, that is at work within us...

To Him be the glory

Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That sav'd a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev'd;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believ'd!

Thro' many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promis'd good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call'd me here below,
Will be forever mine.

John Newton, Olney Hymns, 1779

News Anchor: In our special News feature, our investigative journalist set out to unearth details of some of the greatest thieves ever known, but ended up stumbling upon an interesting case: GOD HAS BEEN ROBBED! Really? Is that even possible? Who is that daring? Will they get away with it? The discovery may shock you!

But first, here is a 'rags to stolen riches' story, from an unknown author:
'One day, a very wealthy man was walking... Along the way, he saw a beggar on the sidewalk. The beggar requested for a job… The rich man smiled & said,
“… I'll do something better. I want you to be my business partner. Let's start a business together. ... All you have to do is sell my rice. And at the end of the month, as Business Partners, we'll share in the profits.”…
The beggar repeatedly thanked the rich man. “Sir, how will we divide the profits? Do I keep 10% & you get the 90%? Do I keep 5% & you get the 95%? I'll be happy with any arrangement.”
The rich man shook his head & chuckled. “No, I want you to give me the 10% & you keep the 90%.” …
The rich man explained, “I don't need the money, my friend. I'm already wealthy beyond what you can ever imagine. I want you to give me 10% of your profits so you grow in faithfulness & gratitude.”
The beggar knelt down before his benefactor & said, “Yes Sir, I will do as you say. Even now, I'm so grateful…!”
… He worked very hard. The profits were astounding. At the end of the month, as the ex-beggar was counting the money,… an idea grew in his mind. … A few minutes later, the rich man was knocking on the door… The ex-beggar opened the door & said, “You don't deserve the 10%. I worked hard for this. I deserve all of it!” And he slammed the door.
If you were his Business Partner, how would you feel?' Isn't that what most of us do with what we commit to the LORD; including our very selves, tithe, time and other resources?

Have you been robbing God?

Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each one a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

These delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.

At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.

Each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it.

Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

The speaker began— exactly this is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness.

And this is the purpose of human life.

THIS IS MY COMMANDMENT THAT YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER, THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL!

John 14:6-7 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

c&p,some creativity

I went to Genesis hotel through Exodus road. On the way, I saw Leviticus recording the Numbers of people at Deuteronomy, while Joshua was waiting at the Beautiful gate for Judges, he saw Ruth calling loudly "Samuel, Samuel". At the same time, the first and second Kings of Chronicles were coming to visit Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther for the misfortune of Job their brother.

They started singing Psalms and teaching children Proverbs concerning the people of Ecclesiates and also taught the children how to sing Songs of Solomon. This coincided with the period that Isaiah was engaged in Jeremiah's Lamentations together with Ezekiel and Daniel their friends. By that time, Amos and Obadiah were not around. Three days later, Hosea, Joel and Jonah travelled in the same ship with Micah and Nahum to Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Habakkuk had visited Zephaniah who introduced him to Haggai a friend of Zechariah whose cousin is Malachi.

Immediately after the tradition was observed, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John got involved in Acts that pleased the Romans who were behaving like the 1st Corinthians group because the 2nd Corithians group were always at loggerheads with the Galatians. At that time too they realized that the Ephesians and Philippians were close to the Colossians, that made them to suggest the first Thessalonians visit and that on their second Thessalonians visit they should first of all see the first and second of Timothy brothers who had gone to the house of Titus to teach Philemon his younger brother how to read and write in Hebrew. On hearing this James asked Peter twice to explain to him how the three Johns have disclosed to Jude the Revelations of this journey.
